Job summary

India Abroad in Doha is seeking a talented Welder to join our team to weld components and structures according to customer specifications, using TIG, MIG, and stick welding as required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in welding or related trades.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, safety protocols, and tools such as cutting torches/plasma cutters/welding machines.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills including addition/subtraction/multiplication/division and reading comprehension for interpreting blueprints/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality welds according to customer specifications using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), MIG (Metal Inert Gas) or stick welding while maintaining safety standards.
• Interpreting blueprints or drawings; selecting materials; testing welds for strength; using precision measuring equipment; operating grinding equipment; performing repairs; monitoring production schedules; following company policies; working independently or in teams; adhering to OSHA regulations; ensuring tools/equipment are maintained and stored safely.
