Job summary

Avanta Works is seeking a competent Welder to join our team in Doha. The role focuses on performing welding activities to the highest standards in line with safety requirements.

You will read technical drawings and operate oxyacetylene and arc welding equipment, spot welders, and flux torches. The ideal candidate will have proven welding experience, an understanding of engineering principles related to welding, and excellent eye-hand coordination.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience and skills as a Welder
• Solid understanding of the engineering and mechanical principles related to welding
• Knowledge and experience of using tools and equipment related to welding such as oxyacetylene gas and arc welding machines, spot welding, and flux torches
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Excellent eye-hand coordination, accuracy and attention to detail
• Good physical endurance
