Job summary

Leading Edge is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer for an onsite 1-year contract in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade APEX applications within a government sector context, with emphasis on security and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of Oracle APEX experience, strong PL/SQL skills, and fluency in Arabic and English. Qatar residency and right to work are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle DB, and SQL.
• Experience in government/public sector preferred.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; Arabic mandatory.
• Resident in Qatar with valid right to work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications for government sector.
• Build and optimise PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into APEX solutions.
• Perform integration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Ensure compliance with government security standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide ongoing support.
