Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology in Doha, Qatar seeks a senior PMT project controls leader to drive cost and schedule management across engineering and construction. You will oversee estimating, planning, cost engineering, procurement, and contract coordination to ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities include monitoring contractor performance, maintaining integrated planning systems, reviewing invoices, resolving disputes, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10 years oil and gas project experience including project controls, cost/schedule, tendering, and contracts.
• 3 years leading multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMT project controls across engineering, construction, and other functions.
• Oversee estimating, scheduling, cost engineering, procurement, and contract coordination.
• Ensure contractor compliance with project controls, planning, progress monitoring, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate cost and schedule performance reporting, reviews, and approvals.
• Implement and maintain the Project Control Plan.
• Analyse project costs, schedules, progress, trends, and forecasts.
• Assess project changes and incorporate approved cost and schedule impacts.
• Manage workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor contractor performance and maintain integrated planning systems.
• Review invoices, resolve payment disputes, and support accounting and audits.
