Job summary

Raffles & Fairmont Doha seeks a Director of Food & Beverage to lead the luxury F&B division across all outlets and banqueting. You will drive revenue, optimize costs, and elevate guest experiences in a strategic, commercially driven role.

Leads a multi-site team, partners with Culinary, Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Finance, and People & Culture to maximize opportunities while upholding brand standards and luxury service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue, profitability, and cost optimization.
• Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business performance management.

• Define and execute the overall Food & Beverage strategy across Raffles & Fairmont Doha, covering all outlets and banqueting operations.
• Lead the commercial, operational, and financial performance of the entire F&B division, driving revenue, profitability, and market positioning.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and business plans with clear ownership of revenue, GOP, costs, productivity, and guest experience KPIs.
• Drive revenue optimization through strategic pricing, menu engineering, event strategies, programming, promotions, and partnerships.
• Shape F&B concepts and banqueting offerings to ensure strong market positioning and compelling guest experiences.
• Champion luxury service excellence, operational consistency, and continuous improvement across all F&B venues and events.

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Director of Food & Beverage. The Director of Food & Beverage is a strategic and commercially driven senior leader responsible for the overall performance, positioning, and operational excellence of the entire Food & Beverage division across Raffles & Fairmont Doha, including all restaurants, bars, lounges, and banqueting operations. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across all F&B venues and events, ensuring distinctive luxury experiences while maximizing revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, and long-term business growth. The Director develops and executes the overall F&B strategy in alignment with the hotels' luxury positioning and business objectives, balancing brand standards, innovation, and commercial performance while driving revenue growth, cost optimization, productivity, and sustainable profitability across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall Food & Beverage strategy across Raffles & Fairmont Doha, covering all outlets and banqueting operations
• Lead the commercial, operational, and financial performance of the entire F&B division, driving revenue, profitability, and market positioning
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and business plans with clear ownership of revenue, GOP, costs, productivity, and guest experience KPIs
• Drive revenue optimization through strategic pricing, menu engineering, event strategies, programming, promotions, and partnerships
• Shape and evolve F&B concepts and banqueting offerings to ensure strong market positioning and compelling guest experiences
• Champion luxury service excellence, operational consistency, and continuous improvement across all F&B venues and events
• Lead, coach, and develop the F&B leadership team, building a strong talent and succession pipeline
• Partner with Culinary, Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Finance, and People & Culture teams to maximize commercial opportunities
• Oversee banqueting and event operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of weddings, conferences, corporate functions, and social celebrations
• Use market intelligence, guest insights, and performance data to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability
• Drive strategic activations, events, and collaborations that enhance revenue, guest engagement, and brand visibility
• Optimize staffing, resources, procurement, and operational processes to improve efficiency and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, food safety, licensing, risk management, and local regulations
• Represent Food & Beverage at Executive Committee level and contribute to the broader strategic direction of Raffles & Fairmont Doha
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, collaboration, colleague development, and service excellence

What will you bring to this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 10-12 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience within luxury or five-star hospitality, including senior leadership roles
• Proven experience overseeing multiple F&B outlets and large-scale banqueting operations
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue, profitability, and cost optimization
• Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business performance management
• Excellent leadership and people-development skills, with experience managing large, multicultural teams
• Strong understanding of luxury service standards, restaurant operations, bars, lounges, and banqueting
• Proven ability to develop F&B concepts, drive innovation, and strengthen market positioning
• Excellent communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience with leading international luxury hotel brands is an advantage
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
