Job summary

Le Meridien in Qatar seeks a seasoned Engineering & Maintenance Manager to oversee hotel facilities, energy management, and asset protection. You will lead budgeting, preventive maintenance, and contractor supervision to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal operations across buildings, grounds, and service areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years in engineering and maintenance or related area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 1 year experience in engineering/maintenance; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Manages the engineering operations and budgets for the facility.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and safety standards for facilities.
• Develops long-term maintenance plans and budgets; supervises service contracts.
• Oversees maintenance of grounds, guestrooms, public spaces and equipment.
• Coordinates with vendors, contractors, and city authorities on projects.
