Job summary

SmartConnect Qatar is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. The role focuses on maintaining hotel facilities and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations and guest comfort.

You will perform routine inspections, coordinate with departments, and document maintenance work. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in hospitality maintenance, strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, and proven troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; engineering degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying issues or malfunctions.
• Perform repair and maintenance tasks on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and other equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with departments to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
• Keep records of all maintenance work and report major issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
