Job summary

PPOAR is seeking a dedicated Dietitian in Doha, Qatar to provide nutrition advice and counselling to help individuals achieve optimal health. You will assess clients, develop meal plans, and provide ongoing guidance and support in a professional team setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, registration is preferred, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in dietetics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
• Professional registration with a recognized dietetic association is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a dietitian or similar role is required.
• Knowledgeable in nutrition principles, practices and trends as well as current research in the field.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional needs of clients by evaluating medical history, lifestyle habits, and current diet
• Develop individualized meal plans based on each client’s unique nutritional needs
• Provide guidance on food selection, portion control, menu planning, food preparation techniques, and nutrition education
• Educate clients about the importance of following nutritional guidelines and how it impacts overall health
• Monitor progress of clients to ensure that their goals are being met
• Facilitate support groups or workshops to help individuals learn more about nutrition and healthy eating habits
• Maintain accurate records of client progress.
