Job summary

Intrepidgs is seeking a Fire Alarm & Mass Notification Alternate Lead in Al Udeid AB, Qatar. The role requires performing routine and complex maintenance on fire alarm systems and suppression equipment. Candidates should have NICET Level II certification and extensive experience in the Fire Protection/Life Safety industry, along with the ability to work under extreme environmental conditions.

This position requires a valid U.S. Driver's License and the ability to obtain a Residency Visa for Qatar. 100% travel is required to deployed locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in the Fire Protection/Life Safety Industry.
• Extensive knowledge of various types of Sprinkler Systems.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and Passport required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems.
• Identify hazards and ensure compliance with relevant codes.
• Develop procedures to prevent defective services.

Skills

Knowledge of National Fire Alarm Code

Experience in Fire Alarm & Suppression Field

Ability to read and interpret system design plans

Independent and team working capabilities

Education

NICET Certified Level II

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
