Join a busy, high-standard kitchen and assist in daily butchery operations, ensure proper handling and storage, follow HACCP procedures, and support banquet, catering, and event production with skilled meat preparation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques and portion control.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, trimming, portioning, deboning, and storing meat, poultry, and seafood according to hotel standards
• Assisting in the daily operation of the butchery section to ensure efficient production and supply to all outlets
• Maintaining the highest standards of product quality, freshness, and presentation
• Following standardized recipes, specifications, and portion controls
• Ensuring proper handling, storage, labeling, and rotation of products in accordance with HACCP procedures
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or quality concerns
• Minimizing waste through careful preparation and effective inventory management
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment
• Supporting banquet, catering, and special event production requirements
• Assisting in training and mentoring junior kitchen colleagues when required
