Job summary

Commercial Bank of Qatar in Qatar is seeking a Security Detection & Response Specialist to monitor, detect, analyze and respond to cybersecurity incidents. Qualifications

• Experience in Security Operations or Information Technology equivalent.
• B.Sc. degree in computer science/engineering or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security events, reports, alerts and CSOC dashboards to identify anomalies.
• Respond to incidents, manage events, notifications and calls with RCAs.
• Gather information and provide actionable intelligence on cyber threats.
• Prepare CSOC reports on daily, weekly and monthly KRIs.
• Create and fine-tune use-cases and alerts in the CSOC environment.
• Perform regular health checks on CSOC systems and tools.
• Support administration and configuration of security controls (SIEM, antivirus, network devices, PAM, DLP, VM).
• Prepare security awareness messages for management and staff.
• Participate in cyber drills and CSOC exercises.
• Communicate critical items to senior management daily and coordinate remediation.
