Job summary

Confidential is a Qatar-based leader seeking a Senior Specialist in Cybersecurity to strengthen cyber resilience and governance across on-ground and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, incident response, and reporting, with hands-on management of SIEM/EDR, PAM, DLP, and cloud security platforms. A minimum of seven years in enterprise security and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, CS, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across security operations, governance, incident response, cloud security, and security architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft and Azure security technologies.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, GIAC, GCIH, ECIH, or Security+ are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity risk assessments, governance, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Review and secure on-premises, cloud, and digital technology solutions.
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, threat management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage and optimize security technologies including SIEM, EDR, PAM, DLP, email security, and cloud security platforms.
• Coordinate penetration testing, security audits, and third-party security assessments.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance to business stakeholders and support secure delivery of technology projects.
• Prepare risk, compliance, and security assurance reports for management.
