Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking a Customer Service Agent in Doha who will be responsible for handling short, medium haul and private flights by ensuring correct and safe loading of Aircraft, as per the Food Safety Standard and the Galley Loading Plan (GLP).

You will coordinate with multiple departments, maintain accurate documentation, and handover to Cabin Crew with proper sign‑off, while upholding ramp safety and on-time dispatch expectations in a dynamic operations environment.

Qualifications

• High School qualification with minimum 1 year of job-related experience or Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with No prior job-related work experience.
• Knowledge of Galley Loading Plan (GLP), Menu Specification, Load Matrix, and Menu Cycles.
• Familiarity with various aircraft types in terms of onboard galley layout and loading restrictions.
• Excellent liaison and problem solving skills.
• Flexible in working hours and ability to work under pressure.
• Computer Literate.
• Good Communication in English (spoken and written).
• Basic knowledge of Food Safety and Airside Safety.
• Time Management Skills.

Responsibilities

• Handling of Medium/Short Haul/Private Flights, as and when required by the operations.
• Prepare, load and dispatch all assigned flights with full and complete set-up of catering services as per QCATS or Other Airlines' requirements for Passengers and Crew by coordinating with other departments.
• Ensure on time dispatching/loading of allocated flights as per GLP and Food Safety Standard.
• Check and safeguard issued Tablet/ Radio/ PPE and Temperature Probe Gun.
• Document food temperature on Critical Control Point form for each flight.
• Hand over and sign-off to Cabin Crew on board with proper documentation and explaining non-standard items to crew.
• Adhere to Ramp Safety and Marshalling of High Loaders while performing duties Airside.
• Record start and completion times of each flight/galley assignment.
• Prepare data for clear reports with facts and figures in case of Flight Delays/Accident/Incident.
• Coordinate with all concerned seniors on duty in case of Emergency or Irregularities.

Description

As a Customer service Agent, you are responsible for handling of short, medium haul and private flights by ensuring correct and safe loading of Aircraft, as per the Food Safety Standard and the Galley Loading Plan (GLP). You will be responsible to load the Aircraft as per the Agreed Time Frame, and responsible for handover/sign-off the Catering/Bond/Equipment with appropriate communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handling of Medium/Short Haul/Private Flights, as and when required by the operations.
• Responsible to prepare, load and dispatch all assigned flights with full and complete set-up of catering services as per Qatar Airways Catering System load (QCATS) or Other Airlines' (OAL) requirements for Passengers and Crew by coordinating with other QACC departments, Bond Stores department and Duty-Free department (where applicable).
• Ensure on time dispatching/loading of allocated flights as per the Airline Specification/GLP and Food Safety Standard.
• Responsible for checking and safe guarding of issued Tablet/ Radio/ Personal Protective Equipment and Temperature Probe Gun.
• Document food temperature on Critical Control Point form for each flight as per Food Safety Standard by using calibrated Probe Gun, and also in the event of a Technical/Delayed or Re-scheduled flight.
• Responsible for appropriate handover and sign-off to Cabin Crew on board with proper documentation and ensuring that any non-standard items are located, identified and explained to the satisfaction of the crew.
• Adhere to Ramp Safety and Marshalling of High Loaders while performing duties Airside.
• Record the start and completion times of each flight/galley assignment allocated by the department.
• Prepare data for clear reports with facts and figures in case of Flight Delays/Accident/Incident.
• Coordinate with all concerned seniors on duty inside and outside the Organization in case of any Emergency and/or Operational Irregularities.
