Commercial Bank of Qatar is seeking a Security Detection & Response Specialist to monitor, detect, analyze and respond to cybersecurity incidents using CSOC tools, SIEM and threat intel. This role protects the bank’s digital assets and supports incident response in a fast‑paced environment.

You will lead investigations, perform root cause analysis, prepare reports, fine‑tune detection rules, and collaborate with IT and risk teams to strengthen controls and readiness.

Competenze

• Academic Degree: B.Sc. degree in computer science/engineering or a related technical field.

Mansioni

• Continuous monitoring and review of security events, reports, alerts and CSOC dashboards to identify anomalous patterns indicative of potential security incidents.
• Gather relevant information and provide actionable intelligence on potential cyber security threats and incidents
• Prepare CSOC reports on daily, weekly and monthly KRIs
• Responsible for creation and fine-tuning of use-cases and alerts in the CSOC monitoring environment
• Perform regular health checks on CSOC systems and tools and ensure logs are collected
• Render support for administration and configuration of security controls such as SIEM, anti-virus software, PAM, DLP, Vulnerability Management
• Prepare security awareness messages and participate in CSOC exercises
• Identify and communicate daily items for senior management remediation actions
• Perform risk assessments and due diligence when required
