Job summary

Commercial Bank Qatar in Doha, QA, is seeking a Security Detection & Response Specialist (Qatarization) for a full-time, on-site role. You will monitor, detect, analyze and respond to cybersecurity incidents to safeguard the bank’s digital assets and information systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in Security Operations or Information Technology equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events, alerts and CSOC dashboards to identify anomalous patterns.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis and coordinate remediation actions.
• Gather intelligence on threats and incidents for prevention and response.
• Prepare CSOC reports on daily, weekly and monthly KRIs for management.
• Fine-tune use-cases and alerts in the CSOC monitoring environment.
• Conduct health checks on CSOC systems and ensure logs are collected.
