Job summary

Work in USA is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900 QAR per month, and we welcome applications from non-Qataris with valid work permits.

You will prepare meals to the menu, ensure kitchen stock, maintain cleanliness, train junior staff, and uphold food safety standards while delivering creative, high-quality dishes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a chef or cook.
• Knowledge of different cooking procedures and techniques.
• Understanding of food safety regulations.
• Ability to operate cooking equipment such as ovens, stovetops, grills etc.
• Familiarity with international cuisine.
• Great attention to detail and creativity.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for cooking and creating delicious meals.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to the established menu.
• Stock kitchen with necessary ingredients and ensure availability.
• Prepare ingredients and dishes per recipes, plating meals visually.
• Monitor food quality during preparation times.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen area.
• Train junior staff in kitchen operations as needed.
• Assist in menu planning/creation as necessary.
• Adhere to food safety regulations at all times.
