Job summary

Adecco Careers is seeking experienced Cost Engineers for a leading PMC in Qatar. The ideal candidates will hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a Quantity Surveying qualification and possess extensive experience in contracting or consultancy. Job Overview

Our client, a leading PMC based in Qatar, is looking for experienced and professional Cost engineers for their growing portfolio of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare priced schedules for client bid documents for new works.
• Audit review of cost data prepared by sub-consultants.
• Perform cost budget reviews for client projects.
• Review and input to client tender documents.
• Conduct commercial evaluation and sensitivity analyses of contractor bids.
• Manage change, cost risk analysis, cost claim analysis, and final project cost close‑out.
• Coordinate closely with project team, client, site engineers, contractors and consultants to identify cost‑impact issues early and enable effective mitigation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or an internationally accredited professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Extensive experience working in a contracting or consultancy organisation.
• Minimum 6 years experience for Cost engineers, 10 years for Senior engineers.
• Experience in cost engineering services in design and construction phases of major buildings and civil infrastructure, cost reporting and quantity surveying.
• Strong experience in cost estimation, cost analysis, cost and change management.
• Candidate must be based in UAE and have general experience in the Middle East.
