Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Lead Planning Engineer to join our project control team in Qatar. You will report to the Project Control Manager and be part of the PCON Department within the Project.

You will create, update, and maintain detailed offshore O&G project schedules, monitor progress, coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, perform schedule risk analyses, prepare progress reports, support change management, and guide a team of planning engineers to meet

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of offshore Oil & Gas project experience
• Experience supervising planning teams

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain detailed offshore project schedules
• Monitor progress and propose corrective actions
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to milestones
• Perform schedule risk analysis and maintain risk registers
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
• Support change management, claims preparation, and delay analysis
• Participate in project close-out and lessons learned
• Supervise and guide Senior Planning Engineers and Planning Engineers
