Job summary

The Corporate Affairs Director at UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company provides strategic leadership across Corporate Governance and Government & Regulatory Affairs to protect and enhance the Organisation’s reputation and ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and applicable laws in Qatar.

The role oversees engagement with stakeholders, authorities, and internal counterparts, guiding decision-making, contract reviews, and dispute resolution to safeguard the Organisation’s interests

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Corporate Governance and Affairs, Legal, or Government Relations experience.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
• Master's degree.
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills.

The Corporate Affairs Director provides strategic leadership across Corporate Governance and Government & Regulatory Affairs to protect and enhance the Organisation’s reputation and ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, applicable laws, regulatory frameworks. The role oversees engagement with stakeholders, authorities, external and internal counterparts, including decision-making process, contract provisions reviews and dispute resolution, and safeguards the Organisation’s interests across all external and internal interfaces. The Director advises senior leadership on legal, regulatory, political, and reputational risks while enabling smooth execution of the Company’s business activities.
