Qualifications

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the Group Legal & Compliance Director in implementing and continuously improving the Group's Compliance and Governance Framework, with a focus on compliance monitoring, assurance activities, risk assessments and internal controls.
  • Implement the approved compliance strategy and initiatives and support in developing and maintaining the Group's Enterprise Risk Management framework, in coordination with Finance and other relevant functions, to ensure that key financial, operational, compliance and reputational risks are appropriately identified, assessed, monitored and reported.
  • Develop and maintain an effective compliance risk management framework under the direction of the Group Legal & Compliance Director, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, control evaluation, reporting and escalation mechanisms.
  • Conduct periodic and ad hoc compliance, assurance and risk assessments across the Group to identify non-compliance, control weaknesses, operational vulnerabilities and emerging risks using appropriate qualitative and quantitative assessment methodologies.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the Group's compliance program by implementing appropriate compliance monitoring, testing, assurance and reporting mechanisms and following up on identified gaps within the agreed timelines.
  • Prepare the annual Compliance Plan, including proposed compliance reviews, risk assessments, monitoring activities, investigation support, training and awareness initiatives.
  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc compliance, governance, risk and assurance reports highlighting key risks, compliance status, significant incidents, control weaknesses, corrective actions and matters requiring management attention.
  • Manage the implementation and monitoring of Know Your Customer and other applicable compliance programs, including due diligence requirements, controls, monitoring mechanisms and record-keeping requirements.
  • Support in reviewing and maintaining the Delegation of Authority framework, particularly in relation to authorization levels, segregation of duties, accountability, internal controls and compliance with approved authority limits.
  • Conduct compliance reviews, assurance and enhancement activities and control assessments in accordance with the approved Compliance Plan and the instructions of the Group Legal & Compliance Director.
  • Ensure that findings arising from compliance reviews and assessments are appropriately documented, corrective actions are assigned to the responsible stakeholders and remediation progress is monitored and reported until closure.
  • Maintain appropriate working relationships with external auditors, industry associations and other relevant external stakeholders within the scope of the Compliance Section.
  • Coordinate with the Legal Section regarding legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Group's operations and assess their compliance, operational and internal-control implications based on the legal guidance received.
  • Provide compliance-related input to the Policies Section when requested.
  • Monitor the implementation of approved policies and procedures from a compliance perspective and report identified non-compliance, control gaps and implementation weaknesses.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs in accordance with the approved Compliance Plan, ensuring that employees and relevant stakeholders understand their responsibilities under approved policies, procedures, ethical standards and compliance requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to business functions and management on approved compliance processes, internal controls and procedures within the Compliance Manager's area of expertise.
  • Maintain compliance registers, monitoring records, risk assessments, review reports, corrective-action trackers and supporting documentation, ensuring they remain accurate, complete, accessible, secure and up to date.
  • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and escalation material delays, recurring issues and unresolved compliance or control deficiencies to the Group Legal & Compliance Director.
  • Develop appropriate compliance performance indicators and metrics, monitor trends and submit periodic analyses and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Legal Section, Policies Section, Finance, HR, Operations and other relevant functions to support an integrated approach to governance, risk management, compliance and internal controls while respecting the responsibilities and authority assigned to each function.
  • Conduct or support compliance investigations when assigned and in accordance with applicable investigation, whistleblowing and Ethics Committee procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality, objectivity, integrity and professional standards in all compliance activities, particularly in relation to investigations, whistleblowing matters, regulatory communications, assurance reviews and sensitive information.
Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Strategic thinking, negotiation skills, ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent financial forecasting abilities.
