Job summary

Nair Systems in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Business Analyst / QA Consultant specializing in Finastra EQUATION to support core banking implementations. The role requires deep knowledge of equation core banking, BRS review, and test management across development and testing environments.

The candidate will analyze processes, prepare specifications, develop test cases, and manage defects, with strong communication and data confidentiality skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum five continuous years of experience with the Finastra EQUATION Core Banking System.
• Practical experience in core banking system support and implementation.
• In‑depth knowledge of core banking and loan administration systems.

Responsibilities

• Review BRS and prepare functional specifications for development and testing.
• Develop test cases covering the full scope of business and system requirements.
• Analyze business processes and prepare process mappings.
• Manage defect lifecycles and report testing status.
• Conduct test scope analysis and regression testing.
• Evaluate systems integration requirements involving core banking systems.
• Support business and technical requirements with core banking knowledge.
• Coordinate with analysts and programmers to design and develop business systems.
• Track and document changes to business specifications.
• Prepare user documentation and training materials.
• Participate in performance assessments and stakeholder meetings.
• Respond to questions from team members and customers.
• Ensure data protection and banking ethics compliance.
