Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG seeks a Contracts and Cost Management professional to support post-award activities for Onshore & Operations projects in line with QatarEnergy LNG policies.

You will maintain contract trackers, monitor validity and cap usage, perform contractor evaluations, review ITPs, issue POs in SAP, develop CWOs, and coordinate accruals and timely invoice clearance. Strong English, MS Office, SAP and Power BI required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration.
• 6 years in cost and contracts management in oil & gas.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and industry practice.
• Proficiency in Power BI/Advanced Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Provide post award support and analysis for Onshore & Operations contracts.
• Maintain updated contracts list and track validity and cap value utilization.
• Assist and ensure Contractor Performance Evaluations are carried out periodically.
• Assist and ensure contractor development with emphasis on local content.
• Review ITPs for compliance to contracted rates and issue POs in SAP.
• Develop and execute Contract Work Orders (CWO) including final payments.
• Support development of yearly Contracts Demand Plan.
• Provide timely month-end and year-end accruals numbers.
• Ensure invoices are cleared on time per contract terms.

• Provide post award contracts support and analysis to the Onshore & Operations Support Group aligned with QatarEnergy LNG policies and procedures.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Assist in providing effective post award management of Onshore & Operations Support contracts in accordance with QatarEnergy LNG systems and procedures and aligned with the highest ethical standards.
• Maintain updated contracts list and track the validity and cap value utilization of the contracts on a continuous basis.
• Assist and ensure Contractor Performance Evaluations are carried out periodically as per requirements.
• Assist and ensure contractor development is carried out on a continuous basis and that it is evaluated and monitored with emphasis on local content.
• Review ITPs for compliance to contracted rates before issuing to the contractors and create purchase orders in SAP based on the approved ITPs.
• Develop and execute Contract Work Orders (CWO) including managing the final payments and close-out.
• Support the development and finalization of the yearly Contracts Demand Plan.
• Provide the month-end and year-end accruals numbers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure that all invoices are cleared on time and as per the terms and conditions in the contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration.

Knowledge and/or Experience

• 6 years’ experience in a cost and contracts management environment within the oil and gas industry.

Technical and Business Skills

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar resource planning system software.
• Good knowledge of contract law and industry practice.
