Qualifications

• Experience in general construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor.
• Certifications (OSHA 10/30) preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required to travel between sites.
• Forklift or aerial lift certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs repeatedly and work 8–10 hours.

Job Title: Construction Worker / General Laborer Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-time Reports To: Foreman / Site Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various phases of construction projects, from site preparation to final clean-up. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for operating tools, handling materials, and following instructions from supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and up to code.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Preparation & Cleanup: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, loading/unloading materials, and erecting scaffolding or temporary structures.
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth to prepare for foundations.
• Perform site clean-up duties, including disposing of waste and storing equipment properly at the end of the day.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials (lumber, drywall, concrete, steel, etc.) to the specific work areas.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, plaster, or mortar.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate hand tools (hammers, drills, saws) and power tools (jackhammers, concrete mixers, compressors) safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools; report malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Assisting Tradespeople: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons) with their tasks as directed.
• Hold materials or tools during installation to help speed up the work process.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses at all times.
• Identify and report potential hazards on the job site immediately.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: years of experience in general construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor (Entry-level candidates may apply if willing to learn).
• Familiarity with power tools and heavy equipment is a plus.
• Certifications (Preferred but not required): OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License (to travel between sites).
• Forklift or Aerial Lift Certification.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50–100 lbs consistently. Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and walk for extended periods (8–10 hours). Tolerance to work in all weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain, or dust). Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Soft Skills: Dependable and punctual. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English/Spanish (if bilingual). Team player with a positive attitude. Basic math skills (measuring materials, cutting to length).

Pay: QAR1,809.21 - QAR4,507.91 per month
