Job summary

Brick Stone Trading & Contracting in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator to safely operate telehandler equipment across construction sites. The position is based in Doha with in-person work and offers a monthly salary of QAR 2,100.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Telehandler / Loader Operator.
• Experience with JCB, Manitou, CAT, Merlo or similar telehandler equipment.
• Valid Telehandler / Heavy Equipment Operator License or Certification.
• Valid Qatar equipment/operator license, where required.

Loader Operator (Telehander) at Brick Stone Trading & Contracting in Doha, DAW, QA

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to safely and efficiently operate telehandler equipment for lifting, loading, unloading, transporting, and positioning construction materials at project sites. The candidate should have strong experience operating Telehandler / Rough Terrain Forklift / Telescopic Handler machines in building construction and civil construction environments, with a strong commitment to safety and proper equipment handling.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Telehandler / Telescopic Handler safely and efficiently at construction sites. Load, unload, lift, transport, and position construction materials as instructed. Handle materials such as, Blocks and bricks ,Cement and construction materials,Steel and reinforcement materials, Pallets, Pipes, Timber and formwork materials, equipment and machinery, General construction materials Safely position materials at different elevations and locations using the telehandler boom. Conduct daily pre-start inspections before operating the machine. Check hydraulic systems, tires, brakes, steering, lights, forks, attachments, and other safety components. Report any mechanical defects or abnormalities immediately to the Equipment Supervisor or Site Engineer. Operate the machine within its safe working load (SWL) and manufacturer specifications. Follow approved lifting plans and site traffic management procedures. Ensure proper positioning and stability of the machine before lifting loads. Coordinate with banksmen, riggers, signalmen, and site supervisors during lifting and material movement. Follow all required hand signals and communication procedures. Maintain safe clearance from workers, structures, electrical lines, excavations, and other equipment. Avoid overloading, unsafe lifting, sudden movements, and unauthorized operation. Maintain the machine in a clean and safe operating condition. Complete daily equipment inspection and operation records. Follow all HSE policies, PPE requirements, and site safety procedures. Assist with general site activities related to material handling when required. Ensure the telehandler is parked safely after completing operations. Immediately report accidents, near misses, equipment damage, or unsafe conditions. Perform other duties related to equipment operation as assigned by management.

Required Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Telehandler / Loader Operator. Proven experience operating Telehandler / Telescopic Handler machines in construction projects. Building construction, civil construction, infrastructure, or MEP project experience is preferred. Qatar/GCC experience is an advantage. Experience with JCB, Manitou, CAT, Merlo, or similar telehandler equipment is preferred.

Qualifications & Certification

Valid Telehandler / Heavy Equipment Operator License or Certification as applicable. Valid Qatar equipment/operator license, where required. Relevant operator training certification is preferred. Ability to understand basic English safety instructions. Qatar Driving License is an advantage but not a substitute for the required equipment/operator authorization.

Pay: QAR2,100.00 per month
