Job summary

Brick Stone Trading & Contracting in Doha, DAW, QA is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to supervise daily civil construction activities on-site. You will coordinate workers, liaise with Site Engineers and Supervisors, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of foreman experience, with strong civil construction skills, and Qatar/GCC exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in construction.
• Strong experience in building construction and civil works.
• Qatar/GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Experience in commercial, residential, villas is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at the site.
• Allocate manpower and assign daily tasks to workers and subcontractors.
• Read and understand construction drawings, layouts, specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, HSE Officers, and other trades.
• Monitor workers' productivity and ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.
• Ensure proper use and handling of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Check the quality of workmanship and report defects or deviations to the Site Engineer.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes and ensure proper sequencing of works.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure workers understand safety requirements.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Foreman to supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for managing workers, coordinating with Site Engineers and Supervisors, ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining required quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at the site.
• Allocate manpower and assign daily tasks to workers and subcontractors.
• Read and understand construction drawings, layouts, specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Supervise civil works including Concrete works, Blockwork, Plastering, Masonry, Waterproofing, Tile and flooring works, Excavation and backfilling, Formwork and reinforcement, Kerbstone and paving works, Finishing works, General building and infrastructure works, Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, HSE Officers, and other trades.
• Monitor workers' productivity and ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.
• Ensure proper use and handling of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Check the quality of workmanship and immediately report defects or deviations to the Site Engineer.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes and ensure proper sequencing of works.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure workers understand their assigned tasks and safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, site procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Monitor site housekeeping and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Coordinate inspections with the Site Engineer and QA/QC team.
• Report daily progress, manpower requirements, material shortages, and site issues to the concerned Engineer.
• Assist the Site Engineer in resolving construction-related problems.
• Ensure proper protection of completed works.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure their work complies with project requirements.
• Maintain discipline and good working practices among site workers.
• Support project completion, snagging, and de-snagging activities.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in construction.
• Strong experience in building construction and civil works.
• Qatar/GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Experience in commercial, residential, villas is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Trade Certificate in Civil Construction or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant technical certification will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction practices and site safety requirements.

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
