Job summary

GHD Doha is seeking a Quality & Audit professional to deliver and oversee a broad range of assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards and industry best practices.

You will edit documents, provide expert policy guidance, and help build capability while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements. This is a full-time role based in Doha with exposure to global projects and teams.

Qualifications

Delivers experienced quality guidance that supports effective delivery and consistent functional practice. Executes a wide range of quality activities that strengthen compliance, assurance and operational reliability. Reinforces adoption of GHD quality systems through accurate application of standards and tools. Develops capability by expanding advisory scope and strengthening professional judgement.

Responsibilities
  • Audit Compliance: Manage a portfolio of audit assignments. Ensure that the team plans and delivers audits that cover identified risk areas, and that appropriate corrective actions are agreed on with auditees. Resolve issues arising from audits and refer serious or contentious issues to the audit program leader.
  • Document Preparation: Edit document in line with organizational style guidelines and prepare information for publication.
  • Information and Business Advice: Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues and referring very complex or contentious issues to others.
  • Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
  • Quality Assurance Testing: Validate and interpret complex test data to evaluate and recommend the suitability of nonstandard materials or components.
  • Quality Assurance Testing Design: Develop and validate complex new test methods and procedures for a product or operations segment, incorporating new technologies and meeting changing organizational, customer, and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Management System: Contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes that are in the scope of the quality management system (QMS); contribute to the design of the QMS; provide specialist quality management input to the drafting of new policies and procedures and the design of business processes; contribute to the quantification of the costs and business benefits of change.
  • Work Scheduling and Allocation: Develop short- or medium-term work schedules in order to achieve planned commitments. Approve overtime or use additional resources as needed.
