Qualifications

• High school graduation is required.
• Certificate in Catering or Professional Cookery is required.
• HACCP Training completed.
• Previously worked as a Commis Chef.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce meals as per the production plan and maintain records.
• Manage food stock and minimize wastage through proper kitchen management.
• Prepare and present dishes according to recipes and notify seniors of changes.
• Check quality of raw materials and report issues to the Sous Chef.
• Keep work areas clean to prevent cross contamination and maintain hygiene.
• Prepare mis-en-place for all menus before shift starts for smooth operation.
• Address guest feedback with senior chefs for continuous improvement.
• Maintain equipment and perform other duties as directed by the Head of Department.
