KEO International Consultants in Qatar seeks a Civil Inspector to support drainage infrastructure projects on secondment to a major client. The role performs site inspections, reviews drawings, and monitors safety, quality and progress on civil works.

The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree (Bachelors or Diploma) with substantial supervision experience in drainage/utility projects and strong coordination and communication skills for interfacing with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of civil construction supervision.
• Diploma with at least 10 years of supervision experience.
• Minimum 5 years in drainage, sewerage, utilities or similar infrastructure.
• Experience with underground drainage and utility works.
• Ability to manage site interfaces and coordinate with client/contractor.

Responsabilidades

• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the Contractor and take appropriate action.
• Inspect drainage and civil works for compliance with drawings, specifications, contract requirements, local codes and standards.
• Review shop drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Monitor quality and progress, report non-compliance with approved drawings and contractual requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and oversee excavation, trenching, pipe laying, manhole construction, backfilling and road reinstatement.
• Coordinate drainage and utility interfaces with existing services and other disciplines.
• Supervise and inspect drainage networks and house connections to ensure proper installation.
• Provide technical input to resolve construction issues on site.
• Liaise with Contractor, Engineer and client representatives to ensure works meet project requirements.
