Job summary

Teyseer Services company in Doha seeks a Chiller Technician to operate, inspect, and maintain chilled-water systems and HVAC equipment, ensuring safe, efficient performance and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities include monitoring temperatures and pressures, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, leak testing, and refrigerant recovery as needed. GCC/Qatar experience is a plus for this on-site role in commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / Trade Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on chiller maintenance experience.
• Experience with both air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers is preferred.
• Experience with centrifugal, screw, scroll, or reciprocating chillers is an advantage.
• Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, industrial facilities, or large‑scale facilities management is preferred.
• GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chillers (air-cooled and water-cooled) and associated equipment.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of chillers and components.
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, flow, and operating parameters.
• Inspect compressors, pumps, valves, piping, and insulation.
• Check electrical connections, control panels, sensors, and protective devices.
• Record parameters and diagnose potential problems before failures.
• Diagnose and rectify chiller breakdowns and control-system faults.
• Troubleshoot refrigerant leaks and perform recovery as required.
