Job summary

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor, Qatar, is seeking an Operations Manager to assume overall responsibility for the campus's operational management, providing strategic leadership in health and safety, facilities management, contract management, and compliance. You will oversee budgeting, procurement, and vendor negotiations, while leading a team across facilities, transport, and medical staff.

The role requires a university degree and prior operations management experience in education

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for health and safety, facilities management, and campus planning across the school.
• Lead day-to-day management of capital projects, including capex budgets, governance structures, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee campus renovations, modifications, and large-scale procurement projects, liaising with landlords, contractors, and design teams.
• Manage all third-party contracts and day-to-day operations, including security, cleaning and maintenance, school buses, and onsite catering.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar regulatory agencies, NAE standards, and legal and compliance requirements.
• Lead budgeting, procurement, and event logistics across all non-academic functions of the school.
• Line manage the Procurement Officer, Operations Assistant, facilities team, bus support assistants, and medical team.
• Work with Extended Leadership Team on space planning, room moves, and building maintenance activities.
• Advise the Principal on resource requirements and drive cost savings through vendor negotiations.
