Job summary

Mondrian Doha is seeking a dedicated Cafeteria Attendant to support the delivery of meals and beverages to employees while maintaining exceptional hygiene and service standards.

You will set up dining tables, restock stations, and ensure cleanliness across dining areas. The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with strong teamwork and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and supports the delivery of food and refreshments to employees, ensuring seating and meals are available for all shifts
• Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, fixtures using correct cleaning agents and working in a safe and hygienic manner
• Cleans and restocks service stations and all other storage places
• To be familiar with all items available to employees in relation to the employee menu and buffet items
• To set up each table according to the needs for each service, including condiments and utilities
• To adhere to the cleaning schedule and ensure it is followed at all times
• To report for duty on time and maintain a smart image and high standards of hygiene
• To be knowledgeable of all equipment in the cafeteria
• Performs other tasks as requested by HR and employee committee members
• Be actively involved in food welfare committee meetings and ideas to enhance dining experience
• Attend team meetings and training sessions
• Carry out duties as requested by the Employee Accommodation Manager including welfare events and National days
• Responsible for food control, stock taking, ordering and quality control
• Assist Stewards in preparing cafeteria utensils used during meals and tea breaks
• Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene in dining and kitchen areas
• Be properly groomed at all times
• Provide assistance to employees in the Cafeteria
• Work with Hygiene Manager and Chief Steward to meet food safety standards

• Performs any other tasks requested by Human Resources Team and any reasonable request made by employee`s committee members
• Be actively involved in food welfare committee meeting and ideas to enhance the employee dining experience
• Attend team meetings and training sessions on a regular basis, as and when required
• To carry out any occasional duty as requested by the Employee Accommodation Manager, including functions such as employee welfare events and National days.
