Job summary

Mondrian Doha is seeking an attentive hospitality professional to support cafeteria service across shifts and ensure high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. You will assist with setting up dining areas, restocking, and maintaining compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements.

Strong communication and time management are essential as you collaborate with the hygiene team and staff to deliver a great employee dining experience. Weekends and public holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and supports the delivery of food and refreshments to employees, ensuring high service standards.
• Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, fixtures using correct cleaning agents and safety procedures.
• Restocks service stations and storage areas.
• Familiar with all items in relation to the employee menu and buffet items.
• Sets up tables according to service needs, including condiments and utilities.
• Adheres to the cleaning schedule and ensures compliance.
• Maintains smart image and personal hygiene at all times.
• Provides assistance to cafeteria employees and ensures dining facilities meet safety standards.
• Collaborates with Hygiene Manager and Chief Steward to meet food safety and municipality standards.

• Supervises and supports the delivery food and refreshments to employee`s and delivering high service standards and procedures with emphasis on ensuring seating and meals are available for all shifts.
• Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, fixtures using correct cleaning agents and working in a safe and hygienic manner
• Cleans and re-stocks service stations and all other storage places.
• To be familiar with all items available to employee`s in relation to the employee menu and buffet items.
• To set up each table according to the needs for each service, including condiments and utilities
• To adhere to the cleaning schedule and ensure it is followed at all times.
• To report for duty on time and ensure a smart image at all times by maintaining the highest standards of personnel hygiene
• To be knowledgeable of all equipment in the cafeteria.
• Performs any other tasks requested by Human Resources Team and any reasonable request made by employee`s committee members
• Be actively involved in food welfare committee meeting and ideas to enhance the employee dining experience
• Attend team meetings and training sessions on a regular basis, as and when required
• To carry out any occasional duty as requested by the Employee Accommodation Manager, including functions such as employee welfare events and National days.
• Responsible for food control, stock taking, ordering and quality control
• Assist the Stewards in preparing Cafeteria utensils used during meal and tea breaks.
• Ensures that proper sanitation and hygiene is being followed in dining and kitchen area.
• Be properly groomed at all times
• Provides assistance to employees in the Cafeteria.
• Work closely with the Hygiene Manager and Chief Steward to ensure the dining facilities meet all food safety and municipality standards
