Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services seeks a seasoned professional for a senior contract/oversight role in the Oil & Gas sector in Doha, Qatar. The candidate will lead contractor management, advise on contractual matters, and oversee variations and change orders on major projects.

Ideal candidates have 8 years in business functions, with 4 in Oil & Gas and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, ensuring compliance and timely communications with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, accounting, engineering, or law.
• 8 years experience in a business-related function, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role over contractors/subcontractors/service/vendor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience managing contractors, including drafting contractual correspondence.
• Experience in managing change orders/variations for projects.
• Providing timely contractual advice to the project management team.

Qualifications*

• Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics, and Statistics)

Knowledge and/or Experience*

• 8 years experience in business related function or discipline, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, and including 1 year experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/subcontractors/service/vendor personnel
• Major Energy Projects (post-award) in similar position (including experience with Reimbursable contract)
• Hands‑on experience managing contractors i.e. drafting contractual correspondence, management of change orders/variations, and providing timely contractual advice to the project management team.
