Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Public Relations Officer to coordinate between internal and external stakeholders for a major project in Doha, Qatar. You will manage public inquiries, resolve complaints, translate documents, and liaise with municipal authorities to minimize project impact.

The role requires at least 4 years in PR/communications, experience with construction projects, and fluency in both English and Arabic. Full-time position based in Doha with regional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of demonstrable experience in public relations and communications.
• Experience handling public complaints in construction projects is advantageous.
• Experience working in Qatar is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between internal and external stakeholders for the project.
• Deal with public inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
• Translate required documents and emails while maintaining meaning.
• Liaise with client/site teams and with government bodies as needed.
• Provide clients with translated final documents and reports.
• Conduct visits to affected residents and report feedback to clients.
• Work with construction supervision to minimize public inconvenience.
