Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Limited in Doha is seeking a Bartender to craft exceptional beverages for guests and deliver memorable service in a luxury hotel setting. You will prepare a wide range of drinks, engage guests, maintain a pristine bar, manage inventory, and collaborate with the team to ensure flawless service.

Fluent English and experience in premium hospitality are preferred, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as a bartender in luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Excellent communication and service-oriented mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages accurately and in line with standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering menu recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and stock glassware, spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure safety and licensing compliance.
• Process orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
• Assist with inventory management including stocking and ordering supplies.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams for seamless service.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently adhering to company recipes and standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly professional and knowledgeable manner providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items
• Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked bar area including glassware spirits mixers and garnishes
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and act responsibly to ensure guest safety and compliance with all licensing regulations
• Process guest orders and payments accurately using the POS system
• Assist with inventory management including stocking rotating and ordering supplies
• Adhere to all health safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate effectively with other front-of-house and back-of-house team members to ensure seamless service

Job Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Relevant bartending certification or training is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
