Job summary

Zuma Restaurants in Doha is seeking a dedicated Bar Back to support our luxury bar team and maintain the high standards of the Zuma experience. You will help with garnishes, glassware, ice, and bar supplies, while ensuring stations stay stocked and service runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Bar Back or higher in a luxury high-volume restaurant or similar.
• Passion for hospitality and Japanese cuisine preferred.
• Strong teamwork and guest‑centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bar Team during service, ensuring the bar is fully prepared and service runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Assist with preparing garnishes, glassware, ice, mixers, and other bar supplies to ensure the bartenders have everything required during service.
• Maintain fully stocked bar stations throughout the shift, replenishing products and equipment as required.
• To consistently strive for quality of service and consistency in our experience to our guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic bar area throughout service, while ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of the shift.
• Assist with clearing and resetting the bar, washing and polishing glassware, and supporting the team with closing duties.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations and support the Bartender and wider team in maintaining high standards at all times.

Main Duties
