Job summary

Zuma Doha is seeking a Bar Back to support the Bar Team during service and help maintain our high-energy, polished guest experience. This on-site role requires a genuine passion for Japanese cuisine and a collaborative spirit in a luxury, high-volume setting.

You will assist with garnishes, glassware, ice, mixers, and other bar supplies, keep stations stocked, and ensure cleanliness and organization throughout shifts. Commitment to health and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Bar Back or higher in a luxury high-volume restaurant or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bar Team during service, ensuring the bar is fully prepared and service runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Assist with preparing garnishes, glassware, ice, mixers, and other bar supplies to ensure the bartenders have everything required during service.
• Maintain fully stocked bar stations throughout the shift, replenishing products and equipment as required.
• To consistently strive for quality of service and consistency in our experience to our guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic bar area throughout service, while ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of the shift.
• Assist with clearing and resetting the bar, washing and polishing glassware, and supporting the team with closing duties.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations and support the Bartender and wider team in maintaining high standards at all times
