Job summary

Qatar National Bank is seeking an experienced AVP to lead Taxation and Reporting for Asset Management and Investment Services. The role requires coordinating with auditors, regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial statements, tax compliance and timely data delivery.

The candidate will supervise reporting processes, drive improvements in efficiency, and maintain records while supporting governance and risk frameworks within a major international banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Tax, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or IT (related field)
• Familiar with Tax Regulation and Legality, Financial Statements and Cost accounting
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a highly rated international bank

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage tax processing and reporting for Asset Management and Investment Services
• Ensure timely, accurate financial statements, audits and tax reports
• Coordinate with internal departments, auditors and regulators to address findings and requirements
• Maintain asset management documents and data delivery in line with SLAs
• Produce MIS and reports for management on a weekly/monthly basis
• Respond to tax and accounting queries from fund managers, brokers and investors

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field

Master's degree preferred
