Job summary

Commercial Bank of Qatar is seeking a card operations professional to manage issuance, personalization, fulfillment, and delivery in line with SOPs and SLAs.

You will support card projects, UAT, and changes, maintain embossing and inventory records, and coordinate with IT and vendors to resolve issues, ensuring accuracy and timely service for debit and credit cards. This role offers exposure to a regulated banking environment and opportunities to contribute to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of card operations experience.
• Knowledge of debit and credit cards.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate card personalization and PIN printing to ensure accuracy.
• Perform card fulfilment, packaging, dispatch, and delivery processing.
• Maintain embossing reports, reconciliation records, and production docs.
• Coordinate with IT, Operations, vendors for issue resolution and UAT.
• Ensure timely processing of standard and VIP card requests per TATs.

Job Summary

Responsible for card issuance, maintenance, personalization, fulfilment, and delivery. Ensures smooth day-to-day card operations in line with approved SOPs and SLAs, while supporting card projects, UAT, new product launches, and change implementations.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate card personalization and PIN printing machines to ensure accurate and timely card personalization.
• Perform card fulfilment, packaging, dispatch, and delivery processing for debit and credit card products.
• Maintain daily embossing reports, reconciliation records, and production documentation.
• Prepare and use the correct job setups, card plastics, and customer letters for card personalization and renewals.
• Monitor machine consumables (foils, ribbons, plastics, etc.) and maintain stock availability as per operational requirements.
• Shred used consumables and damaged cards/plastics, ensuring proper record maintenance and compliance with security procedures.
• Perform vault, production, and inventory reconciliations, including embossed-versus-processed card verification.
• Ensure timely processing of standard and VIP card requests in line with approved TATs and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with IT, Operations, vendors, and other support teams for issue resolution, UAT activities, and machine support.
• Report operational issues promptly and perform other duties assigned by the line manager or department head.
  

Knowledge And Skills

• Intermediate understanding of printer maintenance & troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.

Required Qualifications

• Academic Degree: Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent
  

Required Experience

• Knowledge of Debit & Credit cards.
• MS Office proficient.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in card operations, card personalization, or a related banking operations role.
