Job summary

Andaz Doha, part of Hyatt, is seeking an Assistant Manager - Human Resources to support the Personnel Department in delivering Hyatt's People Philosophy.

You will help with recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and talent development, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

Qualifications

• University degree in HRM/HRD or Hospitality/Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years in HR assistant/manager role in a large operation.
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Solid knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and talent development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the efficient running of the Personnel Department in HR.
• Support the Director of Human Resources in implementing Hyatt's People Philosophy.
• Ensure department activities align with corporate strategies and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a university degree or diploma in HRM/HRD or Hospitality/Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Human Resources Assistant Manager or Officer in larger operation.
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
