Job summary

Qatar Typhoon Training Facility (QTTF) is seeking a Training Instructor Supervisor Armaments to oversee theory and practical Typhoon Type training. You will lead curriculum development, supervise instructors, coordinate aircraft and equipment, and ensure safety, PPE compliance, and accurate assessments of trainees.

This role requires a Level 3 training qualification, NVQ3/ONC in aircraft maintenance, and at least five years in training supervision within a maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• Possess a Training Qualification at Level 3 or above.
• NVQ3/ONC in a relevant aircraft maintenance discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years experience supporting Training activities.
• Minimum of 5 years supervising and delivering aircraft Type training.
• Understands the Regulatory Framework and its applicability to the training system.
• Experience in instructional delivery and mentoring activities.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter and curriculum lead for maintenance technician area.
• Supervise and mentor Training Instructors.
• Prepare and deliver Type training courses.
• Assess and report trainee progress.
• Coordinate aircraft and equipment for courses.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety compliance during practical training.
• Ensure training areas and equipment are safe after use.
• Maintain discipline and record absences.
• Monitor quality of instruction and trainee performance.
• Maintain competencies of Training Instructors.
