Job summary

UCC Holding in Doha, Qatar seeks an Architectural Lighting Designer to develop indoor and outdoor lighting concepts for façades, interiors, landscapes and streets. You will create layouts, calculations, renderings, and documentation, while coordinating with stakeholders.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Architecture or Interior Design and 5–8 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in DIALux, Photoshop, and V-Ray.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design required.
• 5–8 years of experience in Architectural Lighting Design.
• Proficiency in DIALux, Photoshop and V-Ray.
• Strong knowledge of lighting systems, fixtures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural lighting designs for indoor and outdoor environments (facades, interiors, landscapes, streets, parking).
• Prepare lighting concepts, layouts, calculations and design documentation.
• Create high-quality renderings, visualizations and presentation materials.
• Perform lighting simulations using DIALux and other tools.
• Review lighting specs, shop drawings and fixture selections.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients and project stakeholders.
• Prepare material submittals and support approvals.
• Ensure compliance with IES, CIBSE and local standards.
