Role Summary

Aircraft engine reliability engineer responsibilities include managing airworthiness compliance, monitoring engine and APU performance, and supporting maintenance planning to enhance reliability and reduce operational costs. The role ensures all technical and regulatory requirements are met while supporting airline operational and financial objectives in Doha.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and technical documentation from authorities and manufacturers
• Monitor engine and APU health and initiate preventive actions to avoid operational disruptions
• Develop removal plans for engines and components based on lifecycle and performance requirements
• Review shop visit reports, technical findings, and invoices to ensure compliance with contracts
• Analyze reliability data and recommend improvements to enhance fleet performance
• Coordinate modification programs, inspections, and maintenance activities
• Assess technical and commercial proposals, engineering changes, and retrofit programs
• Support contract management and ensure supplier performance meets agreed standards
• Investigate technical reports and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Review engineering drawings and data before implementation
• Prepare forecasts and maintenance planning aligned with operational and financial goals
• Maintain professional relationships with manufacturers, maintenance providers, and vendors
