Key Responsibilities
  • Support component configuration control activities by reviewing maintenance check work packages
  • Introduce new and used aircraft and components into the airline maintenance information systems
  • Update engine, APU, and landing gear introductions, replacements, and operational component changes in the airline MIS
  • Review internal aircraft, engine, APU, and landing gear work packages to ensure component replacements are accurately recorded
  • Review work packages and deferred fault packages, raising discrepancies to ensure documentation completeness and accuracy
  • Review and update engine, APU, and landing gear shop reports in the airline MIS
  • Update life-limited parts and hard time components, including prorated calculations, in the airline MIS
  • Review offered used life-limited parts back-to-birth documentation from OEMs and engine shops
  • Maintain accurate back-to-birth records for installed components to prevent end-of-life penalties
  • Ensure aircraft and engine configuration data remains current at all times across systems
Ideal Profile
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an aviation maintenance or engineering environment
  • Basic knowledge of aviation regulations including Part 145 and Part M
  • Basic understanding of aircraft and engine systems
  • Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and accurately
  • Experience with AMOS, TRAX, or FLYDOCS systems is preferred
