Job summary

Qatar Airways in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic for the Calibration Lab (Workshops). The role focuses on calibration of instruments across disciplines, with at least 3 years in an ISO 17025 calibrated lab preferred and experience with force measuring equipment and load cell calibration advantageous.

The successful candidate will work on-site, following QCAA/EASA PART-145 requirements, and contribute to timely aircraft component rectifications while adhering to health and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of job-related experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience.
• Basic ICAO Type II license.
• Trade related reinforcement training or certificates.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers.
• Operate equipment or tooling to meet time frame objectives.
• Interpret information over a range of normal activities to maintain satisfactory continuous operation.
• Meet set productivity standards.
• Perform other department duties as directed by the head of the department.
• Accountable to comply with the company health and safety policy.
• Ensure aircraft component rectifications comply with QCAA/EASA PART-145 requirements.

Education

High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience

Degree or Equivalent Diploma/License in Aircraft Maintenance

Tools

ICAO Type II license

Trade related certificates
