Job summary

Scale in Doha, Qatar, is seeking ML Research Engineers to bridge emerging AI capabilities with mission-critical public sector applications. You will lead research into agent design, reliability and AI safety, building scalable, production-ready architectures for sovereign AI.

You will design multi-step agentic systems, implement rigorous evaluation and red-teaming, optimize models for niche domains, and act as technical authority for public sector leaders.

Qualifications

• Engineering rigour with production-grade Python code.
• Applied research mindset turning theory into prototypes.
• Experience in LLM benchmarking and red-teaming.
• Advanced degree preferred (Master's or PhD) in CS/Math/ML.

Responsibilities

• Architect agentic systems with harnesses, tool-use protocols and robust logic flows.
• Drive reliability and safety with evaluation frameworks and red-teaming.
• Synthesize deep research to enable autonomous information processing.
