Job summary

Anabolic Mechanics in Doha is seeking a creative and technically capable individual to design and print real-world products from concept through physical prototypes. In this role you will create and modify 3D models, prepare prints, operate and calibrate printers, and troubleshoot issues to improve quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D CAD software for creating and editing models.
• Experience operating 3D printers and handling maintenance.
• Understanding of slicing software and print setup.
• Knowledge of printing materials and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues.
• Comfort with tools, machines, and physical prototypes.
• Ability to manage multiple print jobs and work independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models for prototyping and production.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models for prototyping and production
• Prepare 3D models for printing including slicing and print setup
• Operate and monitor 3D printers
• Perform printer calibration setup cleaning and basic maintenance
• Troubleshoot failed prints and improve print quality
• Perform basic post-processing and finishing of printed components
• Assist with rapid prototyping and product development

Required Qualifications

• Experience with 3D modeling CAD software
• Experience operating 3D printers
• Understanding of slicing software
• Good understanding of 3D printing materials and manufacturing processes
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and printing-related issues
• Comfortable working with tools machines and physical prototypes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple print jobs
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Fusion 360 SolidWorks Blender Rhino or similar software
• Experience with FDM FFF 3D printing
• Knowledge of product design mechanical components or engineering drawings
• Experience with prototyping assembly or small-scale manufacturing
• Portfolio or examples of previous 3D modeling and 3D printing work
