Job summary

Workato in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar, is seeking a Junior Product Designer to join the team on a contract basis. You will assist in designing and developing new products, and refine existing ones through hands-on prototyping and testing.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field, with strong 3D modelling skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Arabic proficiency is a plus, and the role welcomes motivated individuals eager to start their career.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field.
Proficiency in 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Assist in design and development of new products from concept to production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet design, cost and performance targets.
Create 3D models and prototypes of product designs.
Conduct market research and gather insights on consumer preferences and trends.
Communicate with suppliers to source materials and components for production.
Test and evaluate prototypes for functionality, quality, and safety standards.
Make modifications or improvements to existing products based on feedback.
