Job summary

Socialhub is seeking a friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our hospitality team in Portugal. You will be the welcoming face, take orders, serve dishes, and help keep the dining floor running smoothly with a positive attitude.

You will work with a multinational team, collaborating with bar and kitchen staff to ensure each guest experiences high-quality service. English and Portuguese language skills are essential, with opportunities for growth within a dynamic company.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant or hospitality experience, or strong enthusiasm to learn.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Good spoken English and Portuguese; additional languages a plus.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and make them feel at ease.
• Take orders, serve dishes and share menu recommendations.
• Keep the floor running smoothly by anticipating needs.
• Coordinate with bar and kitchen to ensure perfect service.
• Handle guest questions and resolve issues calmly.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and assist during busy periods.
