We are in search of a VP of Hardware Engineering to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in leading our hardware engineering team and driving technological excellence at Bloq.it.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead, mentor, and grow the hardware engineering team to deliver high-quality and innovative hardware solutions.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet hardware development goals and support business growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software solutions.
• Drive technical innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies and trends in hardware design and manufacturing.
• Ensure the hardware engineering team follows best practices, development standards, and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical leadership to solve complex hardware engineering challenges.
• Contribute to the overall business strategy and product roadmap as a key member of the leadership team.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• Vast experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience as a Founder or start-up CTO, implementing and developing a Hardware setup from scratch.
• Proven experience in leading and managing large hardware engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex hardware products from concept to production.
• Strong understanding of hardware development processes, methodologies, tools, manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to drive technical innovation and adapt to emerging technologies.
• Experience in the smart locker or logistics industry is a plus.
